Accreditation

ACTEAM is developing the scheme already established by the Institute of Carpenters and will promote total
accreditation for all our specialised trade professionals and companies.

Accreditation will assure your clients that the service you or your company provides meets recognised
standards delivered in a professional manner, offering value for money and a high quality of workmanship.
Accreditation will testify that its holder will at all times comply with, and act within the terms of, the following
code of conduct.


Code of Conduct

      ACTEAM MEMBERS WILL:
•     Conduct themselves in their employment with the integrity and skill expected of a professional
       person.
•     Ensure that work undertaken by staff under their control is performed in an efficient and honest
•     manner.
•     Be totally professional when dealing with the public, business contacts and colleagues.
•     Perform duties and observe responsibilities to their employees, colleagues and the public at all
•     times.
•     Not missuse their office or authority for personal gain.
•     Comply with the laws of the country in which they are employed.
•     Keep abreast of developements, modern techniques and government legislation applicable to their
•     trade.
•     Be responsible and competent in the techniques and operation of their business and / or
•     employment.
•     Respect cofidentiality regardless of source.
•     Actively encourage staff under their control to raise their education standards.


ACTEAM accreditation has the prime objective of maintaining our historic crafts whilst advancing the
science and practice of our trades in the best interests of the public and customers at large

Accreditation means that ACTEAM, after vetting you or your company, are satisfied with your commitment
and ability to deliver total customer satisfaction.  Accredited status will be maintained only provided
the annual/ biennial ACTEAM assessment measures are satisfied.

Public awareness

ACTEAM will strive to achieve public awareness of its accreditation scheme that only accredited members
will be selected to carry out their works. Our FREEPHONE telephone number will be promoted
advising customers of names of accredited members and to verify that approved status is current.
Any complaint recieved will be investigated promptly and the appropriate action will be taken
in any proven cases.


ACTEAM accreditation will be an endorsement of members' commitment to maintaining the highest
standards of craft and quality.


Accreditation will be supported by ACTEAM certificates, with vehicle stickers, identification cards for
tradesmen and logos for letterheads all being available.
